Eric Canny,ÌýPhD has nearly three decades of work in higher education, non-profit as well as corporate.Ìý He was a Founding Director and Chief Innovation Officer for theÌýGlobal Risk Mitigation Foundation,Ìýadministering development projects and identifying the riskÌýgaps thatÌýoften occur when risks from pre-planning through outcomes are not looked atÌýholistically. He has successfully built international education programs at a global scale, including his role in building New York University’s global footprint—one of the largest study abroad and global mobility programs in the world. At CEA Study Abroad, Eric served as Vice President for Program Management responsible for executing a worldwide division to ensure consistent communication and management between 25 academic sites and headquarters concerning all aspects of daily operations. Eric also possesses a life-long commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion. He worked as Educational Director of the Hetrick-Martin Institute for LGBTQIA+ youth, serving 8,000 youth annually through collaborations with the Harvey Milk School and other similar institutions.ÌýHe was named one of the best and brightest underÌý30 byÌýThe Advocate MagazineÌýfor his work at The Hetrick-Martin Institute.ÌýEric was Co-FounderÌýandÌýProducer ofÌýGenesis Films, a documentary filmÌýcompany focused on showcasing "wicked problems" around the world and solutions to them

Prior to joining º£½ÇÂÛ̳’s faculty, Eric held leadership positions at New York University, Columbia University, Stetson University, Augsburg University and the University of North Texas.Ìý Eric Canny,ÌýPhD was team-lead for opening US higher educational institutions in Argentina, China, Costa Rica, France, Ghana, Israel, Myanmar, Palestine, and the United Kingdom.Ìý He has overseen the expansion of existing programs in Chile, Cuba, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Mexico, Namibia, Nicaragua, Spain, Thailand, and other countries.Ìý Eric Canny,ÌýPhD has traveled to more than 70 countries.Ìý He consults on organizational change, strategic planning, and the intersection of workforce trends and higher education.Ìý
