Bio
Matthew Dame, EdD has over a decade of experience teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in ESL, EAP, public speaking, and TESOL education at American Language Institute, International Language Academy, and the Rossier School of Education at USC. He also has a wide range of international teaching experience in public and private language schools in Russia, Morocco, and the Czech Republic. He has spent eighteen years teaching English language skills at Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Levels in both regular and intensive ESL programs in the US and abroad. His teaching interests include critical pedagogy, social justice education, teacher training, multi and plurilingualism, and communicative language teaching methodology. He is also active in conducting, presenting, and publishing research in critical reflection, translanguaging, heritage language learning, and authenticity in language teaching.Ìý
