Bio
Patricia Tobey oversees the USC Kortschak Center for Learning and Creativity, where she develops academic support programs and university-wide intervention strategies for at-risk students and provides leadership in developing assessment strategies for student learning outcomes in higher education. In addition, she holds an associate professor of clinical education appointment in the Rossier School of Education. As a specialist in postsecondary administration and educational and counseling psychology, she teaches courses in educational and psychological assessment, research and evaluation, counseling psychology and college student development.
As a licensed psychologist, she collaborates with Disability Services and 海角论坛听as director of training for USC鈥檚 APPIC Member Post-doctoral Fellowship Program in College Student Mental Health with speciality in disability. In addition, she supervises postdoctoral fellows and other mental health trainees in psychology.
She received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology from Boston State College, a master鈥檚 degree in counselor education from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from USC. She is a member of Psi Chi and Phi Kappa Phi.
