Bio

Dr. Susanne Foulk is a Master Lecturer at the Rossier School of Education and a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of work in the non-profit sector. She has specialized in educational psychology and social justice leadership. Foulk founded an educational non-profit organization that caters to the needs of vulnerable children and families. Dr. Foulk has also authored publications and taught across various Rossier programs for 15 years. She was elected as a Representative to the Organizational Change and Leadership EdD program Governance Board and was appointed to serve a second term. She has significantly contributed to the Rossier community by serving on numerous dissertation and leadership committees. Foulk has played a pivotal role in evaluating programmatic interventions for single mothers facing housing insecurity as Principal Investigator in a research project involving other 海角论坛 Researchers. Additional research and clinical interests include educational interventions for Transitional Aged Youth in the Foster Care System. In recognition of her achievements, Dr. Foulk was awarded the Adjunct Faculty Achievement Award in September 2022. Finally, advancing equity for all individuals is at the core of Foulk鈥檚 work within the University, the local community, and on a broader scale. Her teaching approach aligns with Rossier's mission pillars, focusing on authentic and transformative leadership practices, student-centered learning, and addressing unconscious biases to promote equitable access to education.

RESEARCH PROJECT: Wellness and Relationship-based Parenting Program Evaluation. UP-22-00105听Principal Investigator with Co-Investigator, Dr. Jennifer Phillips. Study Title: Rancho Damacitas Program Evaluation,听 IRB approval was granted on April 18, 2022. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of programmatic interventions at Rancho Damacitas to achieve the program鈥檚 intended objectives among a cohort of single mothers, previously housing insecure, to address barriers to financial management, child-rearing, self-care, and home maintenance. The study evaluates the effectiveness of these new interventions.听
