Kezar鈥檚 research spurs national discussion on new faculty model for higher education

As director of the Delphi Project on the Changing Faculty and Student Success, 海角论坛 Professor Adrianna Kezar has conducted various investigations into the evolution of higher education and the academy.

Most recently her research on the changing nature of the professoriate accelerated a national discussion on the changing nature of faculty roles and the status of non-tenure-track faculty in higher education. In the past year, under her direction, Delphi has presented the outline of a new faculty model in the report 鈥淭he Professoriate Reconsidered.鈥 Together with students Dan Maxey and Elizabeth Holcombe, Kezar has developed various tools to help university stakeholders develop this vision: among them, the outline of for the faculty and a survey to help evaluate adjunct faculty working conditions.
