Bio
Jimmy Aguilar (he/him/his)听is a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD)听in the Urban Education Policy program with a concentration in听higher education at the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education.听He is currently a research associate听at the Pullias Center for Higher Education, advised by Dr. Julie Posselt.
Aguilar is a Gates Millennium Scholar and holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Chicano Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a minor in Education. Following his undergraduate degree, Aguilar earned a master鈥檚 degree (Ed.M.) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE).听
His research interests include equity in admissions and college access, education technology, higher education policy, organizational behavior and听change, and organizational communication.听
