Bio
Gabriela Torres (she/her/hers)听is a听Ph.D. student in the Urban Education Policy program and a听research assistant at the Pullias Center for Higher Education.听She is advised by听Dwuana Bradley听in the Higher Education concentration.
Gabriela obtained her bachelor鈥檚 in Sociology at UC Santa Barbara and an M.Ed in Educational Counseling at USC. Her experience navigating institutions as a first-generation Latina student inspired her to enter the field of higher education. Her career and research interests include college access for marginalized students and educational policy and research that addresses the inequities that impact students of color in higher education.
